TREEMASTERS’ dedication to the environment began in 1999 when owner Tad Jacobs began fueling all of our trucks, cranes and equipment with Bio-Diesel. This commitment has since expanded into the use of biodegradable lubricants for our small equipment, the recycling of 100% of our wood chips and all office recyclables, and the conversion of our building to 100% solar power. TREEMASTERS’ decision to “Go Green” has earned us a certification as a Bay Area Green Business, the first tree care company in Marin County to earn this certification.

Each Diamond Certified Company undergoes a rigorous audit process that involves ongoing random surveys of their customer’s satisfaction, the rating of their credentials, and audits of their business practices. TREEMASTERS is proud to have earned Diamond Certification since 2005.

The Consumers’ CHECKBOOK is an independent, nonprofit consumer organization whose purpose is to help consumers get information on high quality products and services in their local metro area. TREEMASTERS is one of the organizations top rated tree services in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a rating of 97% in “overall performance” from 37 independent ratings.

TREEMASTERS is home to three I.S.A. Certified Arborists, Tad Jacobs, Michael Queirolo and Uriel Barron. I.S.A. Certified Arborists undergo a rigorous training and examination process to become certified in assessing the condition of your trees, identifying potential problems, and making professional recommendations on the trees’ treatment and care.

TREEMASTERS is a member of the Tree Care Industry Association, a trade association for the Tree Care Industry. The TCIA develops safety programs, standard practices of tree care, and educational programs for arboriculture firms around the world. The TCIA also offers continuing education and training in safety and tree care procedures. Membership with the TCIA demonstrates our company’s commitment to fostering a culture of safety in our office and at each of our jobsites.

The California Department of Pesticide Regulation has certified owner Tad Jacobs with a Qualified Applicator License for the use of restricted pesticides. This means that TREEMASTERS has the ability to apply chemical products for the treatment of many tree pest and disease infestations. TREEMASTERS believes in applying chemical treatments sparingly and as a last resort to proper tree health maintenance and soil nutrient management.

Service companies such as TREEMASTERS are graded by consumers on six different areas of customer satisfaction such as Price, Quality, and Professionalism.
